Going: After a sunny day yesterday with a light breeze, the going is now Good, Good to Soft in places. It is likely to dry further during the week and further updates will be posted between now and race day. All eight fences will be jumped after two were omitted at the last fixture. Advance tickets can be bought at the early bird price of £13pp until 8th May at the Kimblewick Races website. On the day entry is £15pp (16s and under free).
Cards and cash are accepted for entry on the gate and most of our trade stands take payment by both methods. Cash is usually required for betting.

For those travelling to Kingston Blount from the South East (i.e. Kent, East/West Sussex and Surrey) please note that National Highways have confirmed that the M25 will be shut between junctions 9 (A243 Leatherhead) and 10 (A3 Wisley) from 9pm Friday 10 May to 6am Monday 13 May 2024 so please allow extra time for your journey and plan an alternative route.
There are also road closures at the weekend on the A40 Westbound between the M40 services slip road and Thornhill Park & Ride between 05:00 and 18:00 and on the A34 southbound all day between Milton and Chieveley, both due to resurfacing works.
Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a lead at all times.
Disabled car parking is available. Please advise our gate staff on arrival and they will direct you.
The Kimblewick Supporters Club will again be running the Stables Bar. A range of stalls selling hot and cold drinks and food will also be present.
There will be a number of stands selling clothing, accessories and other household items.
There is a bouncy castle and face painting for children.
The Lambert Arms, in the nearby village of Aston Rowant, offers food, drink and accommodation. Other local pubs nearby are the Leathern Bottle in Lewknor and the Inn at Ebrington. The Sir Charles Napier near Chinnor offers high-quality dining. Kingston Blount is only 20 miles from Oxford, which offers a number of tourist attractions, accommodation and food and drink options.
