The Horse Welfare Board are funding a new initiative for GB Racing throughout 2025. They have provided funding for a pilot scheme of Schooling Trials across both point-to-point courses and licensed tracks.

Schooling days are an integral part of the Irish training model, with most horses taking part in 3 or 4 schooling trials before their first run in a point-to-point.

A number of schooling days will be organised over the course of the season, with all dates being advertised here.
